This season, Prada explored the theme “BEFORE AND NEXT,” proposing a way of thinking that does not reject the past but instead builds upon what has been inherited. Through the collection, the house questioned the importance of preserving universal values cultivated by culture, meaning, intelligence, and care.
A key item was the slim jacket, defined by an elongated and structured silhouette. It embodies traces of the wearer’s life, including personal attitudes and ways of living, translating this philosophy into form. While the overall look remained pared down and monochromatic, collage prints visualizing the overlap of different eras and meanings, combined with vividly colored pieces, created a strong contrast. Details such as folded shirt cuffs peeking from jacket sleeves, subtle aging treatments and bucket hats styled like corsages added a sense of quiet reassurance, subtly evoking the presence of lived experience.
